History

Founded by coach Danny Van Acker, The Airborne Athletics boy's team program came to be with the help and support of many great gymnasts, parents and coaches. Without their hard work, dedication and love for the sport, none of this could have been possible.

"Coach Danny" began his coaching career in the upstate fifteen years ago with a group of individuals that would later define boys gymnastics in the upstate and all of South Carolina.  Those individuals were the first, the first boy's team, the first group of parents, the first booster club that would help pave the way for a positive and secure future for boy's gymnastics in the upstate.

After many good times and a few bumps in the road, Airborne Athletics has become what boy's gymnastics in the upstate can proudly call home.
