Tae Kwon Do
Why take Tae Kwon Do?
Tae kwon do challenges children with a variety of
activities that perfect balance, coordination, and strength. They
learn the basic stances, kicks, self defense blocking and punching
with an emphasis on character, discipline, listening, and focus. Tae
kwon do is a great way to encourage, build confidence, and bring
structure into the lives of children.
Our coach, Tommy Hance, is a true master. In 1976
he attained his black belt. He went on to study with Master Billy
Hong of South Korea and attained the Master level of 5th degree
black belt in 1993. He's trained men, women, and children of all
ages, backgrounds and professions. But Tommy is not only an expert
in his field, he's also a husband and father of four children (ages
2 to 13) which means he understands children.
